Euthanasia, are we in favor?

Most of us should admit that we don't know the facts regarding euthanasia. A word mostly heard, but not understood..

Do you believe that our Almighty God created human being and only him has the right to take lives in his good will? Yes, most of us believe that God has the power to create and has the right to take lives.

In reality, there are some cases that Euthanasia takes place. A situation that was really hard to accept and we cannot change it.

What if ten (10) years from now a doctor told you, "your mother's quality of life was not worth living for," and asked you as the closest family member, to approve a quick, painless ending of her life. Would you allow the doctor to end the suffering of your mother? or would you wait the will of our Father to take her life and let your seriously ill mother to suffer? How will you decide? It's hard right?

Euthanasia defined either painlessly putting to death or actions that actively cause death, in case of terminal illness or irreversible coma. The term comes from the Greek expression for "Good Death." Legalized euthanasia most likely progress to the stage where people, at a certain point, would be expected to volunteer to be killed. We are committed to the fundamental belief that the intentional killing of another person is wrong.. We have a deep sympathy for those people who are suffering.

Probably, a major argument in favor of euthanasia is that the person involved is in great pain.. Today, advances are constantly being made in the treatment of pain. I guess that it is in case virtually no uncontrolled pain cases can be found - then they can say those people are drugged into a no-pain state but they need to be euthanasiaed from such a state because it is not dignified.

Nearly, all pain can be eliminated and - in those rare cases where it can't be eliminated - it can still be reduced significantly if proper treatment is provided. It is a national and international scandal that so many people do not get adequate pain control. But killing is not the answer to that scandal. Is it right to commit suicide?

Euthanasia is not about the right to die. It is about the right to kill...

Euthanasia is not about giving rights to the person who dies, but instead,

is about changing the law and public policy so that doctors, relatives and others can directly and intentionally end another's persons life..

People do have the power to commit suicide. Suicide and attempted suicide are not criminalized. Have you seen or heard a person who attempt suicide that was in jail? It's funny right? Of course there's none.. Suicide is tragic, individual act. Euthanasia is not about a private act.. It's about letting one person facilitate the death of another.

People who support euthanasia often say that it is already considered permissible to take human life under some circumstances such as self defense - but they missed the point that when one kills for self defense, they are saving innocent life - either their own or someone else's.

WITH EUTHANASIA, NO ONE'S LIFE IS BEING SAVED-

LIFE IS ONLY TAKEN...

Life was full of mystery. We don't know what will happen. We should make some decisions that is good for us.

Now let me ask it to you again...

EUTHANASIA--- are you in favor?

okay..., as an addition to what you posted here.... Euthanasia is the intentional killing of a dependent human being, by act or omission, for his or her alleged legal benefit. The key word is "intentional". If death is not intended, then it is not an act of euthanasia; action or omission that it's very nature, or in the intention, causes death, for the purpose of eliminating whatever pain.

As what you said that it Euthanasia etymologically signifies "good death", euthanasia derives from the Greek words Eu which means "good" and "thanatos" which means death (just to be specific)

there are classifications of euthanasia...

1) suicidal euthanasia.
when subject himself(alone or with the help of other people) resort to lethal means to interrupt or suppress his life.
therefore, it is done with the subject's consent.
2) homicidal euthanasia
which comes in two forms:
* Euthanasia for piety or pious
homicide which is performed to
liberate a person from a terrible
disease. Today this type of
euthanasia is presented as most
"reasonable" compared to other
types. It is prescribes "death
without suffering" for hopeless
patient, saving them from further
"useless","unnecessary"
suffering.
* social or eugenic euthanasia seeks to eliminate "lives devoid of vital value" or to "purify the race".
3)Ortothanasia which etymologically means passive death. The subject is left to die by omitting any medical assistance. But for some authors, this terminology has another meaning (just death, death in its due time) which is considered ethical.
4) Positive and negative euthanasia. Positive euthanasia provokes death through adequate intervention(equivalent to suicidal and homicidal euthanasia). On the other hand, negative euthanasia results when medical support is omitted.
5) Active (Direct) Euthanasia and negative (Indirect) Euthanasia. There is growing tendency today to impose the terminology, "active or direct euthanasia" which actually means to procure death in order to eliminate pain. "Negative" or indirect euthanasia, on the other hand, is not strictly euthanasia since it seeks to alleviate a patient's suffering with the accompanying risk of shortening his life.
6)Painless death is not euthanasia in the strict sense. Drugs are administered to modify or suppress pain and not to provoke death. (painless death is inappropriately termed as euthanasia lenitive.) Neither can we call euthanasia the acceleration of death when it is due to drug therapy which shortens life but not intended for this end.
7)Voluntary Euthanasia means that a person requests to be killed.
Non-voluntary Euthanasia when person did not request and gave no consent to be killed.
Euthanasia by Action means intentionally causing person's death by performing an action such as by giving a lethal injection.
Euthanasia by Omission means intentionally causing death by not providing necessary and ordinary (usual and customary) care such as food or water.
